The Solutions Engineering team helps Sentry's largest customers successfully embed Sentry into their applications and workflows, from SDK integration to getting alerts and issues to the right place.
Responsibilities
- ▹Understand customers' pain points and objectives and translate those into implementation and onboarding plans that demonstrate business value
- ▹Develop best practices, educational offerings, and content around error and performance management, open-source, or the Sentry product (e.g. how-to articles and videos)
- ▹Act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert for customers on software engineering and monitoring best practices
- ▹Provide workshop-level interaction with customers to drive maturity of use and broader adoption
- ▹Work cross-functionally internally, providing feedback to product and development teams and aligning the roadmap with faster time to value
Requirements
- ▹5+ years as a Solutions Engineer (preferred), Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customers
- ▹Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Java, PHP, .NET, Ruby, React, React Native, and native mobile (iOS and/or Android)
- ▹Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ▹Problem solver, knowledgeable, and a can-doer
