GTM Engineer

Backend Developer • On-site • Full-time • 📍 Hybrid

This role supports the growth of Cloudflare One by designing, building, and shipping AI-powered workflows that scale the sales, marketing, and support functions.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the data foundation the Specialist GTM org runs on — account and contact data quality, enrichment workflows, and data provider orchestration
  • Audit the existing tool stack and build your own backlog of what's missing or broken, prioritizing accordingly
  • Ship rep productivity workflows fast, triaging requests from the field and iterating quickly
  • Decide when to build custom AI-powered solutions versus using existing point-and-click tools
  • Think in systems: anticipate the upstream and downstream implications of every workflow to avoid creating technical debt
  • Integrate third-party APIs to sync events and information across the tools the team depends on
  • Document what you build so it can be found, understood, and trusted

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, workflow automation, or a technical RevOps role, ideally at a high-growth, AI-native B2B company
  • Direct experience with Salesforce, including its data model and comfort owning changes to it
  • Fluency with AI coding assistants, actively building with these tools
  • A track record of owning end-to-end AI and automation workflows
  • A fundamental understanding of APIs and webhooks for integrating third-party systems
  • Strong judgment on when low-code tools are sufficient and when they become the bottleneck
  • Systems thinking: breaking problems into composable, reusable, extensible parts
  • High agency and bias for action, comfortable experimenting and building fast amid ambiguity
