Senior Backend Java developer - Camunda platform (REF5637D)
The team is building the next generation of Workforce Management for the entire Deutsche Telekom Technology domain, aiming to digitize and optimize existing field service processes.
Responsibilities
- ▹Work closely with POs, architects, and development/ops teams
- ▹Develop and maintain Camunda Spring Boot workers
- ▹Apply bugfixes on backend
- ▹Write unit tests for new features
- ▹Participate in code reviews / merge requests
- ▹Mentor junior developers
- ▹Troubleshoot and analyze issues, bugs and incidents; help with root cause analysis
- ▹Contribute to choosing the proper automation technologies
Requirements
- ▹Strong experience in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
- ▹General backend knowledge (REST APIs, microservices)
- ▹Solid experience with Git and GitLab (branching, merge requests, etc.)
- ▹Experience with relational databases
- ▹Fluent in English
Nice to have
- ▹Experience with BPMN (Camunda preferred)
- ▹DevOps experience
- ▹Docker, Kubernetes experience
- ▹Agile methodology knowledge (SAFe, LeSS)
- ▹German language
