Senior Data Analyst - German Speaking (REF5252U)

A business-oriented Senior Data Analyst role focused on transforming complex data into actionable insights through analytical problem solving, supporting data-driven decision-making in close collaboration with the business side.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and semantic data models
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across reporting solutions
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders within the "data squad"
  • Present insights and recommendations in a clear and actionable way to non-technical stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making

Requirements

  • Experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst in a data-driven environment
  • Strong skills in dashboarding and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
  • Good knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and semantic layers
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional and virtual teams
  • Confident German and English skills (B2-C1)

Nice to have

  • Energy industry experience
  • (Advanced) knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of data science methods
