Responsibilities

• ▹Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyperscaler's cloud backend
• ▹Work hardware-oriented at the console and get hands-on
• ▹Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance
• ▹Consistently automate with common automation frameworks
• ▹Work in a team of specialists who help each other openly and with trust

Requirements

• ▹Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject, or equivalent professional training
• ▹3–5 years of professional IT experience with strong exposure to modern cloud technologies
• ▹Solid knowledge of software, cloud and container architectures
• ▹Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
• ▹Knowledge of the Python programming language, its paradigms, constructs and idioms
• ▹Customer orientation and the ability to understand real-world use cases
• ▹Knowledge of agile development methods and experience working in agile teams
• ▹Mentoring, presentation and communication skills — able to explain complex concepts clearly
• ▹Ability to evaluate technical solutions and propose creative, future-proof approaches
• ▹Fluency in written and spoken English
• ▹Must be located and working within the EU to meet customers' data security and privacy requirements

Nice to have

• ▹OpenStack knowledge and open-source programming experience
