Responsibilities

• ▹Technical validation: partnering closely with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, build bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and PoCs across Cloudflare's portfolio (Security, Networking, Developer Platforms).
• ▹Trusted advisory: acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, maintaining a continuous relationship with key stakeholders from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
• ▹Strategic alignment: owning the long-term technical relationship, ensuring continuous alignment between customer goals and the product roadmap.
• ▹Commercial accountability & expansion: carrying a variable quota tied to new business and account growth; ensuring deep platform adoption and identifying cross-sell/up-sell opportunities; leading technical QBRs for executives.
• ▹AI orchestration & workflow automation: using AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks (RFP/security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, basic telemetry monitoring), freeing time for strategic advisory.

Requirements

• ▹Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer).
• ▹Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• ▹Commercial mindset: track record in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned roles, understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
• ▹Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills bridging deep technical detail and C-suite business strategy.
• ▹Hands-on experience with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem, specifically Workers AI and AI Gateway.
• ▹Applied AI knowledge: prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or RAG architectures.
• ▹Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for custom integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.
