Lead Product Manager, Enterprise AI & Automation

Responsibilities

• ▹Define and own Marqeta's Enterprise AI & automation strategy, including responsible AI principles and governance frameworks
• ▹Identify and prioritize high-value AI and automation use cases together with business units
• ▹Define functional and technical requirements (FRD/TRD) for internal AI platforms
• ▹Lead the Plan and Commit process for AI and automation technology requests
• ▹Oversee QA/UAT processes and coordinate platform deployments
• ▹Lead vendor selection and manage AI tooling vendors, running pilots and evaluating emerging technologies
• ▹Drive enterprise-wide AI rollout and change management, including an AI Champion Network
• ▹Own the AI program's metrics framework and report progress to senior leadership

Requirements

• ▹7+ years in IT product management, with at least 2 years focused on AI or emerging technology products
• ▹Genuine understanding of AI capabilities (summarization, classification, generation, agentic workflows)
• ▹Proven experience delivering internal AI systems, platforms, or automation workflows
• ▹A "product" mindset for internal tools, focused on UX and adoption
• ▹Experience managing product backlogs, defects, and enhancement roadmaps for enterprise applications
• ▹Strong prioritization instincts in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment
• ▹Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across business, finance, legal, and security stakeholders
• ▹Comfortable operating hands-on with AI tooling, from evaluating platforms to configuring agents

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with no-code/low-code AI platforms (e.g. Workato or similar)
• ▹Change management experience with a focus on adoption
• ▹Fintech or regulated industry experience
