Responsibilities

• ▹Lead and scale multiple engineering teams (Cloud Infrastructure, Platform, Data Platform, Internal Tooling), including distributed and international teams
• ▹Define and own the platform and infrastructure strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• ▹Serve as a senior technical leader, influencing architecture and systems design for large-scale, mission-critical distributed systems
• ▹Partner with Product, Security, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align platform investments with company goals
• ▹Drive execution excellence by evolving processes, setting priorities, and ensuring predictable delivery
• ▹Stay ahead of emerging technologies (Web3, cloud infrastructure, AI) and translate them into technical strategy
• ▹Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering leaders and ICs
• ▹Own hiring strategy and workforce planning for the org

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• ▹10+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in distributed systems
• ▹5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers and leading orgs responsible for critical production infrastructure at a high-growth startup
• ▹Strong hands-on understanding of large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
• ▹Experience with Java, Kubernetes/K8s, AWS, multi-region, multi-cloud strongly preferred
• ▹Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with developer platforms or API products
• ▹Experience in crypto, blockchain, or adjacent infrastructure markets
• ▹Previous founder or startup leadership experience
