Responsibilities

• ▹Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform
• ▹Develop autonomous agents that talk to sensitive enterprise data
• ▹Write minimal code for low-resource environments with stringent deployment mechanisms
• ▹Reinvent the wheel where needed since popular libraries or tooling aren't always usable for security/privacy reasons
• ▹Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques

Requirements

• ▹At least two years of experience
• ▹Shipped substantial fullstack code (Python and React) in production
• ▹Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• ▹Experience at both large enterprises and startups
• ▹Strong coding ability, comfortable across the stack
• ▹Able to read, understand, and fix issues outside the main codebase
• ▹Built and deployed high-performance client- or server-side RAG/agentic applications to millions of users

Nice to have

• ▹An eye for design and a creative mindset
• ▹A portfolio, GitHub, or other project showcase
