Backend Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Responsibilities

• ▹Take part in the discovery phase of projects with the Product Manager and Designer to define the feature to be built
• ▹Collaborate with other engineers to design the software architecture
• ▹Build, test and release features to production
• ▹Monitor features in production and fix issues, supporting customers using them
• ▹Onboard through "good first issues," then take ownership of roadmap items autonomously

Requirements

• ▹At least 4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• ▹A balanced blend of technical, business and product skills
• ▹Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly
• ▹Fluent English (French not required)
• ▹Experience working in an agile team, team-player mindset
• ▹Empathy for users and a drive to solve real problems for them
