Senior Software Engineer (C/C++), SDK

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop first-class native clients in C and C++, plus integrations for gaming, IoT, and high-performance application frameworks
• ▹Work within the Game Dev Experience (GDX) team improving native, game-engine, and console products
• ▹Solve unique challenges in compilers, debugging, operating system internals, low-level optimization, and distributed systems
• ▹Use a variety of languages and technologies (C, C++, as well as Rust, Python, .NET, and JavaScript) to solve mission-critical problems
• ▹Collaborate with Infrastructure and Operations teams to build solutions that scale (processing over a billion events daily)
• ▹Write unit and integration tests, plus documentation

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of relevant experience
• ▹Experience writing high-performance native server or desktop applications, or libraries
• ▹Experience with C and C++ programming languages
• ▹Good written and spoken English communication
• ▹Based in the Vienna, Austria area or willing to relocate

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with game engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot) or gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
• ▹Knowledge of other programming languages (Rust, .NET)
