Responsibilities

• ▹Guide the iOS SDK's architecture and development
• ▹Pioneer new features such as Session Replay and next-generation performance monitoring
• ▹Design robust, high-quality APIs built to handle massive scale
• ▹Shape Sentry's overall mobile vision, mastering Apple's latest innovations (modern concurrency, on-device AI)

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong focus on mobile platforms, ideally in SDK development or developer tooling
• ▹Deep experience developing for iOS using Swift and Objective-C
• ▹Strong understanding of mobile architecture, patterns, and best practices
• ▹Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and code quality
• ▹Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• ▹Based in the Toronto area or willing to relocate

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of the app monitoring and observability space
• ▹Familiarity with low-level programming (C/C++)
• ▹A track record of maintaining or contributing to open-source libraries
• ▹Experience with other mobile platforms (Android/Kotlin/Java, React Native/JavaScript/TypeScript, Flutter/Dart)
