Mid-Market Solutions Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• ▹Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing Solutions Engineer team
• ▹Coach SEs on discovery, storytelling, demo excellence, product knowledge, and competitive positioning
• ▹Partner with Mid-Market sales leadership to align on pipeline and priorities
• ▹Oversee demos, trials, technical evaluations, and RFPs
• ▹Standardize and evolve scalable demo, trial, and RFP workflows
• ▹Translate field patterns into product feedback and process improvements

Requirements

• ▹Experience managing or mentoring Solutions Engineers in complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS sales motions
• ▹A strong drive for hiring, growing, and developing people
• ▹Strategic thinking about process, enablement, and operational excellence, not just individual deals
• ▹Natural partnership with Sales Leadership, with clear influence and communication
• ▹Strong business acumen connecting Ashby's capabilities to measurable customer outcomes
• ▹Clear communication, able to simplify complex concepts and coach others to do the same

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or deep familiarity with TA workflows
• ▹Experience building demo infrastructure, value frameworks, or trial structures
• ▹Experience leading cross-functional projects in rapidly scaling organizations
