Responsibilities

• ▹Identify, scope and lead large technical projects, laying the groundwork for core products to scale into performant, reliable, customizable systems
• ▹Design, develop and own new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• ▹Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience and sustainable technical foundations
• ▹Help interview, hire and onboard new engineering teammates in the UK and/or Ireland
• ▹Act as a cultural beacon, modeling effective collaborative engineering and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

• ▹At least 10 years of industry experience as a software engineer
• ▹Served as technical lead on large (6+ month) projects, defining roadmaps across multiple teams
• ▹Built successful SaaS products for both startup and enterprise users
• ▹Previous startup experience or a bias-for-action environment
• ▹Uplifted teams of engineers through mentoring and leading by example
• ▹Experience at both rapidly scaling startups and large companies
• ▹Openness to responsibly applying AI to improve efficiency and impact
