Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to frontend and backend development: build, maintain, and enhance UIs, APIs, and core components using Python, TypeScript, and Go (primarily Python and TypeScript)
• ▹Support and develop the open-source SDK so it remains intuitive for developers integrating with Runpod
• ▹Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to develop features and fix bugs that improve the experience for AI engineers and researchers
• ▹Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability, following testing and CI best practices
• ▹Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and continuous learning to deepen full-stack expertise

Requirements

• ▹Some experience with Python and/or TypeScript, with a passion for growing in a full-stack role
• ▹Strong experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS frameworks) and backend frameworks (e.g., React, Express, FastAPI, Pydantic)
• ▹Problem-solving mindset, eager to learn from feedback and collaborate in a dynamic team
• ▹Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts with developers and non-technical colleagues
• ▹Successful completion of a background check

Nice to have

• ▹Familiarity with Go or another strictly-typed language
• ▹Enthusiasm for and contributions to open-source projects
• ▹Exposure to cloud platforms, distributed computing, or containerization (Docker)
• ▹Prior coursework or projects showcasing full-stack experience
• ▹Experience with Git and version control workflows
