Forward Deployed Engineer, Sovereign AI

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform
• ▹Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data
• ▹Experiment at high velocity and quality to engage customers and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
• ▹Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production
• ▹Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing and rollout

Requirements

• ▹Experience with and enjoyment of working directly with customers
• ▹A track record of shipping Python in production
• ▹Experience building and deploying performant client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications
• ▹Strong coding abilities across the stack, including reading, understanding and fixing issues outside the main codebase
• ▹Ability to execute well in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• ▹Eligibility for Active Top Secret security clearance required (candidates willing to obtain it will also be considered)
