As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll be a trusted advisor to leadership and partner teams, leading security operations — vulnerability management, SAST, DAST, detection engineering, and incident response — across CI/CD and cloud-native production environments.
Responsibilities
- ▹Clearly articulate business risks to team leadership and partner teams
- ▹Lead security operations: vulnerability management, SAST, DAST, detection engineering, incident response
- ▹Integrate security into applications throughout the software development lifecycle
- ▹Collaborate with product and development teams to ship secure software without compromising agility
- ▹Drive and support the bug bounty program, application security reviews, and threat modeling (code review, dynamic testing)
- ▹Assess and integrate security tools to automate and scale security processes (open-source vs. vendor solutions)
- ▹Gather and analyze security metrics to resolve cross-team dependency issues
Requirements
- ▹5+ years of experience in Application/Product Security or Security Operations, with a strong focus on security tool onboarding and optimization
- ▹Understanding of vulnerability management, network security, cloud security concepts, and industry best practices
- ▹Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make informed decisions with limited data
- ▹A flexible, constructive approach to problem solving
- ▹Ability to make build-vs-buy trade-offs
- ▹Understanding of secure engineering best practices, and the ability to explain problems and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- ▹Deep technical understanding of common security vulnerabilities, risks, and countermeasures
- ▹A hands-on engineer interested in automating controls
