German-Speaking Senior IT Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze and optimize clients' business processes and operations
• ▹Provide consulting on information and IT security topics at the technical, process and organizational level
• ▹Identify client needs and translate them into sustainable, future-proof IT and cybersecurity solutions
• ▹Support the setup of an Information Security Management System (ISMS), e.g. ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz
• ▹Participate in complex analyses and audits
• ▹Identify and evaluate IT risks
• ▹Develop security concepts and solution proposals
• ▹Maintain contact with clients, internal teams and management
• ▹Act as an expert point of contact on security topics

Requirements

• ▹Higher education degree in IT or IT security, or relevant professional experience
• ▹Several years of experience in information security consulting
• ▹Knowledge of ISMS systems and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, TISAX, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
• ▹Experience in audits and complex security analyses
• ▹In-depth knowledge of IT risks
• ▹Practical experience developing security solutions and concepts
• ▹Good communication and presentation skills
• ▹High level of independence and decision-making ability
• ▹Ability to provide professional guidance without a formal leadership role
• ▹German and English at a negotiation-level proficiency

Nice to have

• ▹International IT security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, BSI consultant)
• ▹Experience designing and evaluating technical security solutions
• ▹Ability to educate clients and raise security awareness
