Software Engineer - Frontend (EU/UK remote)

Responsibilities

• ▹Build and evolve complex, user-facing products using modern frontend technologies
• ▹Design and implement scalable, maintainable frontend architectures alongside frontend/backend engineers, product managers and designers
• ▹Ensure a best-in-class UI/UX, especially in complex workflow-driven product areas
• ▹Own features end to end, from concept through implementation, testing and production rollout
• ▹Raise the bar for code and product quality through cleaner abstractions, testing and performance awareness

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience building production-grade React applications
• ▹5+ years of experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• ▹Experience working with REST APIs and modern data-fetching patterns
• ▹Familiarity with component libraries, design systems and Web Components
• ▹A quality-focused mindset with experience in testing, performance and maintainable code

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with React Query, Material UI or similar tooling
• ▹Experience with UI unit and e2e testing
• ▹Exposure to authentication, feature flags and observability tools
• ▹Basic understanding of backend technologies (e.g. Java)
• ▹Familiarity with React Native or mobile development
• ▹Familiarity with AWS, Docker and Terraform
