Quality Engineer - Functional Test and Migration Test - German Speaking

Responsibilities

• ▹Extend the existing test framework for testing data and application migration scripts
• ▹Analyze, design and specify migration test cases
• ▹Build database- and service-level comparison tests
• ▹Perform functional checks and sample-based application-level tests
• ▹Design and produce test data for migration scenarios
• ▹Analyze, document and track faulty states and migration issues
• ▹Document and evaluate test results
• ▹Work independently as part of the migration team

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience in manual and automated testing
• ▹Practical experience designing and specifying migration tests
• ▹Experience creating test data and reproducing real error scenarios
• ▹Practical experience analyzing Java code and SQL scripts
• ▹Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Ability to investigate discrepancies and anomalies in test results
• ▹Excellent collaboration skills in an agile development environment
• ▹ISTQB Foundation Level certification (CTFL or Agile Tester)
• ▹German language skills at least B2 level, spoken and written

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in Scrum or SAFe environments
• ▹Knowledge of agile testing methods (e.g. Shift Left, Test Quadrants)
• ▹Testing of SOAP and REST-based services (SOAPUI, Postman, Insomnia)
• ▹Experience in CI/CD environments (Git, code review, static code analysis)
• ▹Knowledge of container technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• ▹ISTQB Advanced Level certification (Test Analyst or Agile Technical Tester)
