Senior Backend Java Developer – Camunda Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Work closely with Product Owners, architects and development/ops teams
• ▹Develop and maintain Camunda Spring Boot workers
• ▹Apply bugfixes on the backend
• ▹Write unit tests for new features
• ▹Participate in code reviews and merge requests
• ▹Mentor junior developers
• ▹Troubleshoot and analyze issues, bugs and incidents, and help with root cause analysis
• ▹Contribute to choosing the proper automation technologies

Requirements

• ▹Strong experience in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
• ▹General backend knowledge (REST APIs, microservices)
• ▹Solid experience with Git and GitLab (branching, merge requests, etc.)
• ▹Experience with relational databases
• ▹Fluent in English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with BPMN (Camunda preferred)
• ▹DevOps experience
• ▹Docker and Kubernetes experience
• ▹Agile methodology knowledge (SAFe, LeSS)
• ▹German language
