Responsibilities

• ▹Operate, monitor, and continuously develop IT systems, networks, and applications
• ▹Support users with technical issues, requests, and challenges
• ▹Analyze, resolve, and sustainably prevent IT incidents
• ▹Implement and develop IT security measures, including updates, access control, and backup strategies
• ▹Optimize and modernize IT infrastructure with a focus on performance, security, and cost
• ▹Contribute to IT projects and the introduction and integration of new technologies
• ▹Drive automation and efficiency improvements across the IT landscape
• ▹Create and maintain system, process, and policy documentation

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, business informatics, or vocational training as a system integration specialist
• ▹Several years of experience administering IT systems, networks, and cloud technologies, ideally in an international environment
• ▹Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID
• ▹Experience in IT security, including firewalls, VPN solutions, backup strategies, and endpoint security
• ▹Knowledge of IT budgeting, cost control, and IT governance on a global level
• ▹Very good German and English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience coordinating international IT service providers and suppliers
• ▹Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT service management best practices
• ▹Automation knowledge and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)
• ▹Experience running distributed IT systems across multiple sites and time zones
