Backend Developer • On-site • Full-time • 📍 Schondorf am Ammersee

A healthcare-sector company headquartered in Schondorf am Ammersee is looking for an IT Administrator through direct placement, responsible for operating the group-wide IT and data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, operate, and continuously develop the group-wide IT and data center infrastructure
  • Support the harmonization and standardization of the IT landscape across the hospital group
  • Independently contribute to group-wide IT projects and help shape IT standards and processes
  • Administer and optimize server, virtualization, and storage environments
  • Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues (2nd-level support)
  • Ensure stable, secure, and high-performing IT operations
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers on technical and infrastructure projects

Requirements

  • Completed IT vocational training (e.g. system integration specialist) or comparable qualification
  • Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere, Horizon, and vSAN, as well as Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V
  • Strong knowledge of networking and firewall technologies, ideally Sophos, and SAN/NAS storage systems (e.g. NetApp FAS, Synology, QNAP)
  • Solid knowledge of HPE infrastructure and backup solutions, preferably Veeam
  • Structured, independent, and process-oriented way of working
  • Class B driver's license and willingness for occasional business travel
  • Very good German and English skills

Nice to have

  • Initial experience with Microsoft SQL databases
  • Initial experience with hospital information systems (KIS)
