IT Administrator

Responsibilities

• ▹Operate and further develop the system landscape with a focus on Windows
• ▹Administer a highly available Microsoft Windows Server environment (2016/2019, virtualized on Microsoft and ESXi)
• ▹Handle OS and software deployment and patch management for Windows clients
• ▹Ensure backup and recovery
• ▹Support Windows applications, including fault analysis and resolution
• ▹Contribute to the development of IT security policies, plus provide user support and training

Requirements

• ▹Completed training as an IT system integration specialist (Fachinformatiker), a computer science degree, or a comparable qualification
• ▹Practical experience administering Windows domains and networks, as well as VMware and Hyper-V
• ▹Strong solution orientation, initiative and independent way of working
• ▹Enjoyment of teamwork and independent problem-solving in coordination with other departments
• ▹Fluent German and basic English
• ▹Driving license and willingness for occasional business travel
