Network Security Engineer – AIRBUS

Responsibilities

• ▹Hold full technical operational responsibility for the network infrastructure in Germany, ensuring stable, high-quality operation based on ITIL
• ▹Steer the IT service providers responsible for the technical implementation of the network infrastructure against contractually defined KPIs and SLAs
• ▹Collaborate with other IT departments and teams on projects and the introduction of new solutions requiring network infrastructure
• ▹Plan and control network infrastructure costs, including ongoing development and improvement
• ▹Provide technical support for root cause analyses, particularly during incidents
• ▹Manage the highest-level administrative access and permissions within the area of responsibility

Requirements

• ▹Completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field
• ▹At least 3 years of professional experience in IT / information systems
• ▹Experience operating IT infrastructure solutions or as an IT project lead in network infrastructure
• ▹In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Network Access Control, Firewall, Proxy, Layer 2 & 3 encryption
• ▹Negotiation-level German and English
