Electronics Specialist – Automation Technology (Process Control Technology)

Responsibilities

• ▹Carry out maintenance work on electrical and instrumentation/control equipment
• ▹Independently troubleshoot and repair electronic sequence controls in process control systems and safety-related controls
• ▹Perform switching operations in electrical distribution panels
• ▹Configure and parameterize HART field devices
• ▹Carry out recurring inspections of safety-relevant PLT equipment per the maintenance plan
• ▹Perform visual, close and detailed explosion-protection inspections per BetrSichV
• ▹Maintain plant documentation in cooperation with the technical office

Requirements

• ▹Completed training as an electronics technician (operational or automation technology)
• ▹Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering
• ▹Solid knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. VDE standards 0100/0105, explosion protection)
• ▹Basic SAP knowledge and a high level of safety and quality awareness
• ▹Independent, responsible, structured work style
• ▹Willingness to wear full-face respiratory protection
