
Merchant Security Expert with French and English
SumUp, a global fintech company, is looking for a Merchant Security Expert to join its international Customer Support team specializing in Risk & Fraud. The role focuses on handling transaction-related requests, verifying documents and supporting customers via phone, chat and email. This is an on-site position based in Sofia, involving specialized security calls with a low phone volume.
Responsibilities
- ▹Proactively address a variety of transaction-related requests from merchants while following security rules and procedures
- ▹Act as the voice of the internal Risk and Fraud Team by contacting merchants and verifying documents based on risk assessments
- ▹Monitor merchant behavior in compliance with AML rules and internal terms and conditions
- ▹Review customer business and adjust payment limits using sound decision-making
- ▹Support Dutch and English-speaking customers through phone, chat and email, handling each issue on the most suitable channel
Requirements
- ▹Excellent language skills in both French and English
- ▹Strong communication skills, handling customer interactions with ease and patience
- ▹Curiosity and persistence to solve issues efficiently
- ▹Strong organizational skills, even in stressful situations
