Raisin, the world's leading savings and investment platform, is looking for an Engineering Lead for its Customer Engagement team. This cross-functional team shapes the design and experience of core customer touchpoints, owning domains such as the Customer Portal Dashboard on web and mobile, the Email Service and Transactional Emails. Beyond technical excellence, the role has a strong people-development and leadership focus.

Responsibilities

  • ▹Own the full end-to-end delivery cycle: requirements analysis, effort estimation, design, implementation, QA and delivery
  • ▹Nurture an inspiring environment with open communication and a culture of trust
  • ▹Proactively resolve impediments and mitigate risks, escalating in a timely manner with a well-articulated mitigation plan
  • ▹Collaborate closely with the team's Product Manager and Tech Lead
  • ▹Facilitate the team's work on strategy and planning
  • ▹Drive the OKR process together with the Product Manager, pairing OKRs with individual target agreements
  • ▹Recruit, hire and onboard engineers into the team
  • ▹Develop engineers' soft and technical skill-sets, craft individual development plans and provide coaching
  • ▹Recognise high performance and maintain strong performance standards

Requirements

  • ▹University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
  • ▹At least 1 year of leadership/people management experience
  • ▹Strong hands-on experience (min. 5 years) as a Frontend Engineer
  • ▹Proven track record of using AI tools to increase productivity, with hands-on proficiency in AI coding agents like Cursor
  • ▹Proven experience with UX/UI principles and translating user-centered designs into high-quality web/mobile implementations
  • ▹Ability to manage software projects to successful, collaborative delivery
  • ▹Up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle in a frontend landscape
  • ▹Comfort with open code and architecture discussions
  • ▹Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • ▹Familiarity with Python, React Native or PHP
  • ▹German language skills
