Senior Software Developer – Redshift for ArchViz

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop new and existing ArchViz plugins connecting Maxon Redshift with CAD/BIM applications (Vectorworks, Revit, ArchiCAD)
• ▹Implement real-time synchronization between host applications and Redshift visualization
• ▹Handle data transfer (geometry, textures, material properties, vegetation/asset libraries, lighting)
• ▹Ensure outstanding performance for large-scale architecture projects
• ▹Collaborate closely with UX, product management, and developers from other Maxon teams
• ▹Mentor junior developers while upholding high coding standards

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• ▹Expert-level C++ skills with proven experience building high-quality software
• ▹Experience developing plugins/integrations for 3D DCCs
• ▹Solid understanding of 3D geometry processing, material systems, and asset management
• ▹Strong debugging, optimization, and performance analysis skills
• ▹Knowledge of CAD/architecture workflows

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with C#, .NET, or similar languages for CAD plugin development
• ▹Experience developing plugins for CAD/BIM software applications
• ▹Experience with rendering software, ideally Redshift, but also Unreal Engine, Unity, or V-Ray
