Alan is looking for a Crew Lead of its Acquisition Funnel crew (~8 people, 4 engineers). Crew Leads are technical managers responsible for organizing the crew's work and accountable for its output, while spending ~40% of their time as individual contributors. You'll build the website, marketing engine and self-serve flow that drive member acquisition.
Responsibilities
- ▹Organize the crew's work and be accountable for its output
- ▹Spend ~40% of time as an individual contributor on crew objectives
- ▹Build and optimize the high-traffic alan.com website across markets
- ▹Power acquisition channels and scale marketing campaigns across markets
- ▹Develop seamless self-serve conversion flows from discovery to signup
Requirements
- ▹6+ years of software engineering experience
- ▹Experience leading a team
- ▹Experience building and shipping web applications
- ▹Genuine interest in conversion funnels, marketing metrics and growth
Nice to have
- ▹Experience at the intersection of business and product
- ▹Growth or marketing engineering background
