Responsibilities

• ▹Support the existing microservice-based codebase
• ▹Develop external connection points (backend, HTTP API, FIX API)
• ▹Optimize and modify the architecture of existing infrastructure

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of Scala development experience
• ▹Knowledge of JVM multithreading models (blocking, CAS, Future/Promise, Actors)
• ▹Understanding of functional programming basics (recursion, pure functions)
• ▹Experience with Scala collections and for-comprehensions
• ▹Experience with the akka library (akka-http, akka-streams, actor model)
• ▹Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
• ▹SQL experience
• ▹Ability to write tests

Nice to have

• ▹Fintech company experience
• ▹Trading and financial mathematics knowledge
• ▹Experience building high-load, multi-threaded systems
