Sr./Staff Backend Engineer - Java (Poland)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design scalable, high-performance, low-latency backend services with Java and AWS
• ▹Collaborate with product management, frontend and QA teams
• ▹Optimize existing services for performance and reliability
• ▹Identify and resolve system bottlenecks
• ▹Implement code quality, testing and CI/CD best practices
• ▹Monitor backend services, proactively resolve issues
• ▹Mentor junior team members

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of backend development experience with Java and AWS
• ▹Experience building distributed, low-latency, high-scale services
• ▹Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Familiarity with distributed data systems (Kafka, ClickHouse)
• ▹RESTful API design and security best practices
• ▹Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle)
• ▹Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
