Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build, and operate modern AWS-based cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments
• ▹Implement automation solutions with Infrastructure as Code, primarily AWS CDK (TypeScript) and CloudFormation
• ▹Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring integration of automated tests
• ▹Continuously improve the monitoring, alerting, and logging landscape for maximum transparency and stability
• ▹Systematically get to the root cause of performance or stability issues and resolve them independently
• ▹Conscientiously and sustainably implement security and compliance requirements

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer in complex environments, ideally with AWS (EC2, Lambda, Route53) and Kubernetes
• ▹Strong understanding of cloud architectures, networking technologies (e.g. VPC, Security Groups), and cloud IT security
• ▹Solid practice with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. AWS CDK with TypeScript, CloudFormation, Terraform) and deployment automation (Jenkins, Git, ArgoCD)
• ▹Experience with containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Helm) and monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch), plus scripting skills (TypeScript, Bash)
• ▹Strong self-motivation, resilience, and sense of responsibility
• ▹Fluent business German and very good English

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in a database environment (e.g. Oracle Database)
