Responsibilities

• ▹build an observability product from scratch (logs, metrics, traces)
• ▹optimize the software stack and database engine for cost, performance and scale
• ▹run rapid experimentation to find customer needs
• ▹talk to customers and eliminate ambiguity
• ▹set the foundation for company culture and help grow the team

Requirements

• ▹5-8+ years of relevant work experience
• ▹experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed, database or storage systems
• ▹proficiency in Go, Java, C/C++, Scala, Python or Rust
• ▹entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic and integrity

Nice to have

• ▹experience architecting observability systems from the ground up
• ▹familiarity with distributed systems, storage, caching, LLMs and AI
