Responsibilities

• ▹Building and evolving a new VMware-based infrastructure
• ▹Migrating existing systems (iSeries) to the new, flexible environment
• ▹Automating setups, configurations and deployments with Ansible
• ▹Supporting the integration and operation of Java-based applications
• ▹Implementing monitoring and logging with Grafana/Loki
• ▹Evolving Jenkins pipelines to optimize the deployment process

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience as a DevOps engineer / system engineer or in a comparable role
• ▹Very good knowledge of VMware and Ansible
• ▹Experience with automation, configuration management and CI/CD processes
• ▹Understanding of Java applications and their infrastructure
• ▹Structured, systematic working style with a broad perspective
• ▹Very good German and good English skills

Nice to have

• ▹Willingness to later introduce modern user authentication (e.g. Keycloak)
