Senior Software Engineer - Backend - Card & Transaction Platform

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Define, measure and improve SLOs/SLAs and error budgets
• ▹Scale the platform for a growing customer base
• ▹Spot risky patterns and capacity limits early
• ▹Share in a 24/7 on-call rotation and lead incident response
• ▹Own observability (Datadog): dashboards, alerting, tracing
• ▹Design and ship new product features on Java/Spring Boot microservices

Requirements

• ▹5+ years building distributed backend services on a Java/Spring Boot stack
• ▹Experience with AWS, Kafka and PostgreSQL
• ▹Experience operating high-availability systems
• ▹Fluency with a modern observability stack and SLO/SLA thinking
• ▹Effective, experienced use of AI as an engineering tool

Nice to have

• ▹Payments, card issuing or transaction processing experience
• ▹PCI DSS certification or operating experience
