Engineering Manager, Building Generation (Europe)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead planning and delivery across the generative model, geometry pipeline and BDG APIs
• ▹Build out the European team, attracting and developing strong engineers
• ▹Partner with PMs to scope requirements and surface constraints early
• ▹Evaluate technical proposals and route them to the right level
• ▹Coordinate with the North American sister team to keep technical direction coherent
• ▹Run an async-first, minimal-meeting team with clear ownership

Requirements

• ▹5+ years in software engineering with significant CAD/CAM or computational geometry experience
• ▹2+ years managing technically deep engineering teams
• ▹Deep computational geometry background (boolean operations, mesh processing, BReps, constraint solving)
• ▹Experience building parametric systems where the model is the source of truth for downstream geometry
• ▹Effective operation in a distributed, async-first environment
• ▹Use of modern AI-assisted development practices to move the team faster
