Responsibilities

• ▹Develop great product features in modern programming languages
• ▹Collaborate with other teams and colleagues
• ▹Shape architecture decisions and continue developing systems to be scalable, maintainable, and performant long-term
• ▹Take ownership of the full software lifecycle, from implementation through testing to deployment
• ▹Work with REST/SOAP services in a microservice context
• ▹Develop testable software and continuously improve test coverage
• ▹Learn together with your team as part of your Community of Practice

Requirements

• ▹Knowledge of complex system landscapes, design patterns, and clean-code approaches
• ▹Knowledge of backend technologies such as Java, Hibernate, Spring
• ▹Knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, React, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• ▹A DevOps mindset and ownership of the full software lifecycle
• ▹Experience with REST/SOAP services in a microservice context
• ▹Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• ▹Knowledge of agile processes and principles, with hands-on experience of agile development methods
• ▹Good verbal and written communication in German and English

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge or experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin)
• ▹Affinity for AI topics and tools, and interest in advancing this area within the company
• ▹Experience with CI/CD and containerized services and applications (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Experience with or interest in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• ▹A frontend focus
