Senior Solution Engineer – Federal Public Sector

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop deep trust and strong strategic partnerships with Sales Executives to navigate and win complex sales cycles
• ▹Identify, foster, and develop technical and executive champions within target Federal Public Sector accounts
• ▹Architect high-impact solutions by translating customer requirements, challenges, and mission outcomes into concrete Snowflake capabilities
• ▹Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle, from whiteboarding and demos to PoC execution and design
• ▹Present Snowflake's technology, roadmap, and vision to senior executive stakeholders and technical teams across government agencies
• ▹Maintain a deep understanding of competitive technologies and the evolving data and AI landscape
• ▹Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to share customer feedback and refine Snowflake's product offerings

Requirements

• ▹An active Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 or higher preferred), or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one
• ▹Base location in Canberra with a commitment to maintaining high in-person office presence and direct customer interaction
• ▹10+ years of overall technical industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales / solution engineering role
