Senior Backend / AI Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design backend architecture, data models, and ETL processes from scratch
• ▹Integrate AI/LLM models and agentic solutions into production environments
• ▹PostgreSQL database design and advanced data modeling
• ▹Design and implement API architecture, integrating with external systems (e.g. MS Azure)
• ▹Design and optimize complex data structures (relational, document, vector)
• ▹Build and optimize data pipelines
• ▹Make architectural decisions and produce clear documentation

Requirements

• ▹Experience in PostgreSQL database design and advanced data modeling
• ▹Practical experience designing API architecture and integrating with external systems
• ▹Experience integrating AI/LLM models and deploying agentic solutions in production
• ▹Ability to design and optimize complex data structures (relational, document, vector databases)
• ▹Ability to build and optimize data pipelines
• ▹Experience in architectural decision-making and documentation
• ▹Willingness to overlap 8 hours daily with US Eastern Time (ET)
• ▹Fluent English

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of the Supabase platform and Microsoft Azure APIs
• ▹Experience with agentic AI solutions and voice/conversational interfaces
• ▹Knowledge of ERP systems or SMB software specifics
• ▹Basic frontend knowledge (React, Tailwind)
• ▹Startup environment experience
