Senior Back-end Engineer (N)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and develop scalable, secure and reliable server-side components and APIs
• ▹Implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, business logic and database schemas with Product and Front-End teams
• ▹Build and maintain services using TypeScript and Node.js, deploying across AWS and Kubernetes
• ▹Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2 and HITRUST requirements through strong engineering practices
• ▹Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Docker, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions
• ▹Monitor, debug and improve backend performance, reliability and observability
• ▹Write clean, maintainable code with documentation and unit/integration tests
• ▹Contribute to frontend tasks in React as needed
• ▹Collaborate in agile sprints using Jira, Confluence and GitHub

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of backend engineering experience
• ▹Fluent English with strong communication skills
• ▹Experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• ▹Experience deploying with AWS and Kubernetes
• ▹Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• ▹Based in a LATAM country

Nice to have

• ▹Frontend experience with React, without needing to be a specialist
