Senior Unreal Tools Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Build rough prototypes fast, test ideas against real engine constraints, and own the resulting technical direction
• ▹Create the game-side experience for applying the knowledge graph at different stages of product development
• ▹Design and maintain the core Unreal SDK connecting the game engine to backend services
• ▹Track relevant research across knowledge graphs, game AI, and adjacent fields, and prototype it
• ▹Profile and optimize memory usage, garbage collection, and multi-threaded operations
• ▹Collaborate with other Tools Developers to keep the product experience consistent across the company's products

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of game development experience with deep proficiency in C++ Unreal
• ▹Proven track record of building pipelines, plugins, or editor extensions for internal teams or public release
• ▹An R&D mindset: comfortable building something rough, learning from it, and iterating
