Senior Manager, AI Corporate Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead, coach, and grow a senior team spanning platform engineering and technical program management
• ▹Own the AI access layer: identity and authentication for AI tools, connector and integration allowlisting, tiered permissions, and guardrails
• ▹Own AI cost engineering: cost attribution by team and individual, model selection, tracking of agent and automation spend, and budget thresholds and alerting
• ▹Own the MCP layer for internal tools, including commissioning, decommissioning, governance, and migration impact assessment
• ▹Own the paved path for internal applications: a golden-path deployment pattern, private-by-default settings, lifecycle and decommissioning policy, and a build-versus-buy framework
• ▹Build the enablement layer: a skills and agent registry, an evaluation framework for internal AI usage, and technical enablement on sanctioned tools
• ▹Write and hold the charter defining what Corporate Engineering owns and enables, and convene the cross-functional forum that coordinates departmental AI efforts
• ▹Partner across Engineering, GRC, Security, Data, Finance, and People
