Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the technical implementation of the video-platform product direction
• ▹Write frontend and backend code, building key product features from the content catalog to payments and video playback
• ▹Make architectural decisions: API contracts, data models, frontend structure, integrations
• ▹Work closely with the business lead and product managers, turning business goals into technical tasks
• ▹Coordinate with DevOps on infrastructure, deployment and monitoring
• ▹Maintain quality through testing, code review and documentation
• ▹Hire and develop engineers in the future

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer in product companies
• ▹Deep expertise in TypeScript and React/Next.js
• ▹Strong backend experience with Node.js, REST APIs, relational databases, background jobs and integrations
• ▹Fundamental computer science knowledge: system design, data modeling, algorithms, API design
• ▹Experience owning features end-to-end, from business task to production release
• ▹Understanding of DevOps (Docker, CI/CD, cloud services, monitoring)
• ▹Experience working directly with founders, product leads or business stakeholders
• ▹Product-oriented, pragmatic engineering mindset, knowing when to build a solid foundation versus a simple solution to test a hypothesis

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with subscription products, payments, media/video platforms
• ▹Experience with Redis, queues, PostgreSQL, NestJS, Cloudflare, AWS
