Backend Developer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, develop and maintain backend services using Python
• ▹Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
• ▹Work with Microsoft Azure (priority), with GCP experience also acceptable
• ▹Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
• ▹Work with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• ▹Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team, taking part in code reviews, planning and architecture discussions

Requirements

• ▹Strong commercial experience in Python backend development (senior level)
• ▹Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (priority), with GCP acceptable as an alternative
• ▹Proven experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and/or Django
• ▹Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices
• ▹Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployment workflows
• ▹Practical experience working with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• ▹Knowledge of GraphQL
• ▹Knowledge of Kubernetes
• ▹Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling
• ▹Experience with cloud architecture patterns, scalability and performance optimization
• ▹Familiarity with testing practices (unit, integration, e2e) and code quality tools
• ▹Version control proficiency (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• ▹Understanding of security best practices in cloud/backend environments
• ▹Ability to communicate effectively in English within Agile/Scrum teams

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, etc.)
• ▹Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
