Computational Mathematics Expert (Contractor, AI Training)

Responsibilities

• ▹Deliver detailed, real-world examples of using AI coding agents such as Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork for computational mathematics projects
• ▹Describe and document workflows for complex technical problem-solving: navigating large codebases, debugging, implementing end-to-end features, architectural changes
• ▹Provide high-quality written and verbal explanations of challenges, project objectives, and AI agents' roles
• ▹Evaluate the effectiveness of different AI agent tools for open-ended mathematical or coding problems
• ▹Submit concise reports on project complexity, context, and AI-driven decision-making
• ▹Contribute feedback on practical integration and limitations of AI tools in computational mathematics
• ▹Participate in remote consultations and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements

• ▹Current STEM professional with hands-on experience in computational mathematics and AI-driven coding workflows
• ▹Demonstrated proficiency in Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, focused on generating actionable code sequences
• ▹Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally
• ▹Track record applying AI agents to advanced tasks: debugging, architectural modification, large ambiguous problem sets
• ▹Experience working remotely and managing deliverables independently
• ▹Ability to analyze and document the value and boundaries of AI agent usage
