Responsibilities

• ▹Own and continuously develop the backend architecture of the platform
• ▹Design scalable, reliable and maintainable technical solutions for complex product requirements
• ▹Make architectural and technical decisions together with the Head of AI and other stakeholders
• ▹Translate high-level product and business requirements into clear technical solutions
• ▹Mentor developers and support their technical and professional development
• ▹Improve system performance, reliability, maintainability and observability
• ▹Support the product as it moves further into production and scales across additional modules

Requirements

• ▹6+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• ▹Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development
• ▹Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• ▹Proven experience designing and implementing backend architecture for complex applications
• ▹Experience building scalable, high-load or high-throughput systems
• ▹Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, reliability and performance
• ▹Experience designing systems consisting of multiple services, modules or integrations
• ▹Strong experience with relational databases
• ▹Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• ▹Experience leading developers, reviewing pull requests and mentoring engineers
• ▹Practical understanding of modern AI-assisted development tools
• ▹Upper-Intermediate English or higher

Nice to have

• ▹Experience working on Healthcare products
• ▹Experience with Redis or similar caching and data-processing technologies
• ▹Experience building AI-powered products, automation platforms or agent-based systems
• ▹Experience designing distributed systems using Python
