Responsibilities

• ▹Own engineering execution and technical direction for the Conversation Product Area (Agent Engine, evaluation infrastructure, Search platform, AI Voice platform Speak, and consumer agentic features built on the Agent Engine)
• ▹Co-lead the Product Area in a paired product/engineering model with a product counterpart
• ▹Manage a team of ~70 engineers, with Senior Engineering Managers and Staff/Principal engineers reporting directly
• ▹Drive migration of the company's existing agentic infrastructure onto the shared Agent Engine
• ▹Own the technical strategy for Spotify's first-party voice investment (Speak): build vs buy, team structure, brand voice decisions
• ▹Define and hold the technical bar on evaluation, building feature-specific judges and datasets
