AI Engineer (.NET / Azure AI)

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹build orchestration and backend APIs with .NET/C#
• ▹integrate Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models
• ▹develop generative AI solutions for summarisation, extraction, filtering, speech-to-text pipelines
• ▹apply RAG and AI search patterns
• ▹deploy and integrate AI models into production environments
• ▹collaborate with engineering and product teams

Requirements

• ▹3+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related software engineering roles
• ▹academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field
• ▹strong professional experience with .NET/C# (.NET Core, .NET 6/8)
• ▹hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / ChatGPT-class models
• ▹proficiency with agentic AI tools like Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot
• ▹excellent understanding of Transformer-based architectures and ML principles
• ▹analytical, problem-solving mindset
• ▹fluent English
• ▹must live in Portugal or be willing and legally qualified to live and work there
