Senior Cloud Engineer - GCP (f/m/n)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement a cloud-native platform architecture on GCP
• ▹Build scalable guardrails for multi-team, multi-environment setups with compliance requirements
• ▹Create reusable infrastructure that enables self-service provisioning
• ▹Define cloud governance: IAM strategies, organizational policies, policy-as-code
• ▹Write design documents and represent technical divisions in cross-team and leadership forums

Requirements

• ▹Strong hands-on experience with GCP
• ▹Production Kubernetes experience: networking, security, tenancy, lifecycle management
• ▹Terraform at the module-authoring level, not just the consumer level
• ▹Solid networking fundamentals: VPC design, CIDR planning, DNS, hybrid connectivity
• ▹Experience in compliance-driven environments (SOC2, PCI-DSS, or similar)
• ▹GitOps methodology and tooling
• ▹Observability stack experience (metrics, structured logging, tracing)
• ▹Clear technical communication: writing and defending design docs

Nice to have

• ▹Thinking about infrastructure as a product with users, SLOs, and developer experience
• ▹Experience designing cloud foundations for organizations, not just individual projects
• ▹Building patterns that scale and enable others, rather than one-off solutions
• ▹Ability to build buy-in across teams and navigate the human side of platform work
